Project ABLE provides Continuing Education Units approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Individuals who complete the 20-hour training are eligible for credits towards keeping their Peer Support Specialist certification current under the Oregon Traditional Health Worker (THW) program requirements.

VIT is a 20-hour exciting and interactive course focused on recovery themes such as:

  • Understanding Mental Health and the Military
  • Effective Communication
  • Relationship Issues and Conflict Management
  • Person Centered Planning
  • Self-Care
  • Women Veterans Health
  • Veteran Benefits
  • Navigating Resources

Project ABLE provides scholarship opportunities to Oregon Veterans, older adults experiencing substance use, individuals experiencing homelessness, individuals experiencing opioid use, and individuals who’ve experienced incarceration. Please contact the Program Director for scholarship eligibility and requirements.
